Programming

After admission each resident receives evaluations and assessments from our consultants and professional staff.

These evaluations are formulated, along with input from the resident and the resident’s family or guardian into an Individualized Program Plan (I.P.P.).

The I.P.P. serves as a guide for all staff who work with the resident. Through personal goals and objectives, we assist each individual to increase his/her independent living skills and better their quality of life. Each individual program plan is reviewed throughout the year and revised as needed.

Examples of I.P.P. objectives and goals may include, but are not limited to:

  • Activities of Daily Living
  • Money Management
  • Community Awareness
  • Public Transportation Use
  • Occupational Skills
  • Leisure Skills
  • Health and Fitness Goals
  • Cooking and Meal Planning
